An Ernie Coates Track Day is much more than just a normal track day, it's an action-packed experience allowing all attendees to experience the racing buzz under a controlled environment aimed at producing better quality riders. To achieve these controlled conditions, we ensure to have multiple professional instructors both leading & following each riding group. This not only ensures complete safety for all participants but also gives you a chance to improve as a rider by receiving advice/guidance when needed.
Track days typically begin around 8:45am & will last usually until 5pm. Throughout this period, each riding group will experience multiple 12-15 minute sessions of on-track time. Instructors are available to point out what's been done right & wrong throughout those laps.
Track days organised & ran by Ernie Coates vary in prices depending on the location. We try our very hardest to ensure you get the most value for money when attending one of our track days.
Unlike others, we feature professional riders on-site who are ready to help & also available for 1-1 tuition sessions where they will show you their lines around that circuit.
On top of this, we offer services such as suspension technicians, photography, bike rental, tyre changing facility, tyres & spares for sale, catering etc.
Rider groups for each track day will be split into the following categories: Novice, Intermediate & Advanced. These groups are available to select online when booking your spot and if spaces are available can be swapped on the day if you find the group doesn't suit.

A. In the unlikely event that the track conditions prove to be unrideable, the track day may postponed or cancelled. Should this happen, your spot on a future track day will automatically be secured. If you are not able to make this date, we can either arrange for a new date throughout the year to be selected or a credit note to a new track day issued.
A full refund will depending on the time frame in which we are informed about the cancellation. Should we be informed 2+ weeks before the event takes place, a full refund will be provided. Within 14 days of the event no refund or credit note will be provided due to late cancellation notice. We can provide a name change free of charge if you were to sell your place and notify us with the details via email.
