BISHOPSCOURT RACE CIRCUIT –
Address: Bishopscourt Racing Circuit, Lismore Road, Downpatrick BT30 7EY, United Kingdom

PH: +44 (0)28 4484 2202

Circuit type: Permanent road course

One of a handful of permanent circuits in Northern Ireland, Bishopscourt began life as a World War Two airfield and is now one of the premier facilities in the country, having undergone considerable investment in recent years. Now host to a bustling calendar of club and national races, the track has seen motorsport activity take place in two phases. On two wheels, the profile of the racing continued to grow, attracting some big names. In April 1971, Barry Sheene won the 200cc race on his 125cc Suzuki (no mean achievement!), while the following year saw Bishopscourt stage its first international event.

Bishopscourt Racing Circuit is located just outside Downpatrick in County Down, Northern Ireland. Belfast City Airport is around 55 minutes’ drive away, while Belfast International is a little further, taking around 1h 10m to reach.

The circuit can be reached by heading south from Belfast on the A24/A7 to Downpatrick. Continue through the town centre and then head east following signs for Bishopscourt on the Ballyhornan Road.
See more information about the circuit here: http://www.bishopscourt.org

If deposit option is chosen remaining payment will be due on the morning of the event.
